Need a wellbeing boost? Discover the joy of Laughter Yoga

Laughter Yoga is a powerful and playful practice that combines laughter exercises with yogic breathing. It’s a unique way to let go of stress, boost your mood, and connect with a supportive community. All without relying on jokes or comedy. The brain can’t differentiate between real and fake laughter. And with eye contact and childlike playfulness, the laughter becomes real.

Our sessions are led by a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader and are designed for everyone, regardless of age or physical ability. You don’t need to be in a good mood to start. Our playful approach will have you laughing authentically in no time.

Why Laughter Yoga?

Laugh your way to better health and stronger connections

Laugh your way to better health and stronger connections

We all know laughter feels good, but spontaneous laughter is often not enough to unlock its full benefits. Our structured sessions are designed to deliver a guaranteed dose of laughter with measurable results.

It’s a workout for your wellbeing

To get the full physiological benefits of laughter, you need to laugh for 10-15 minutes continuously. Our sessions make this easy by treating laughter as an exercise, allowing you to sustain it and reap the rewards.

Laughter, unleashed

Our sessions provide a safe space to laugh loudly and freely. Enjoy a true belly laugh without any social inhibitions. It’s a powerful release that leaves you feeling lighter and more energised.

Laughter on demand

We don’t wait for a reason to laugh. We create our own, ensuring a consistent and committed practice that brings measurable changes to your physical and mental state.

About Laughter Yoga sessions

What to expect in a session

A Laughter Yoga session is a joyful journey from simulated laughter to a genuine, hearty laugh. Every session is unique depending on the leader, participants, location, time of year and other factors. To give you an idea of what to expect, here are some general activities you might experience in a session.

  • We start with gentle warm-ups like stretching, clapping, and chanting to help you feel playful and present.

  • Next, we move into a series of laughter exercises, using visualisation and role-playing to generate real, contagious laughter.

  • Each laughter exercise is followed by breathing exercises to oxygenate your body and brain, leaving you feeling energised.

  • Some sessions will include a Laughter Meditation, a period of unstructured laughter that can lead to a profound feeling of emotional release and joy.

  • We finish with grounding activities like guided relaxation exercises.
